Content Takedown Policy

DrivePulse respects intellectual property rights and the rights of businesses to control their online presence. This page explains how to request removal of content from our platform.

Quick Removal (Dealers)

If you are a dealer and want your inventory removed from DrivePulse, simply email dealers@drivepulse.ca with your dealership name and domain. We will remove all associated listings within 48 hours. No legal notice required.

Copyright Notice (Canada Copyright Act)

If you believe content on DrivePulse infringes your copyright under the Copyright Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42), you may send a notice of claimed infringement to our designated agent. Your notice must include:

  1. Your name and contact information
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
  3. The URL(s) on DrivePulse where the infringing content appears
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

We aim to respond to all valid takedown requests within 2 business days.

Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address above. We will restore the content within 10 business days unless the original complainant initiates legal proceedings.

Automated Blocking

You can also prevent DrivePulseBot from indexing your content in the first place by using robots.txt directives. See our bot information page for instructions.
