1. About DrivePulse

DrivePulse operates as a vehicle search engine that indexes publicly available vehicle listing information from dealership websites across Canada — similar to how Google indexes web pages or Indeed indexes job postings. We help consumers discover, compare, and research vehicles across multiple sources. We are not a dealer and do not sell, lease, or broker vehicles.

2. How We Index Data

DrivePulse uses automated software ("DrivePulseBot") to index publicly available vehicle listing pages that dealers have chosen to publish on the open internet. Our bot:

  • Identifies itself as "DrivePulseBot/1.0" in every request
  • Respects robots.txt directives on all sites it visits
  • Rate-limits requests to avoid impacting site performance
  • Only indexes factual product information (make, model, year, price) — not copyrighted editorial content
  • Provides a direct link back to every original listing

Dealers can block our bot at any time by adding User-agent: DrivePulseBot with Disallow: / to their robots.txt file. See our bot information page for details.

3. Data Accuracy

Vehicle listings, prices, specifications, and images displayed on DrivePulse are sourced from publicly available dealer websites. This data is provided for informational purposes only and may not always be current or accurate. Always verify vehicle details, pricing, and availability directly with the selling dealership before making any purchase decision.

DrivePulse does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing information. Prices may exclude taxes, fees, and other charges. Market value estimates are algorithmic and should not be relied upon as appraisals.

4. Attribution & Linking

All vehicle listings are attributed to their original source dealerships. DrivePulse provides a direct link to the original dealer listing on every vehicle page. Vehicle descriptions, images, and specifications remain the intellectual property of the respective dealers and/or their content providers. DrivePulse does not claim ownership of any dealer-sourced content.

5. Dealer Opt-Out & Content Removal

We respect the rights of all dealerships. Dealers can control or remove their content from DrivePulse through any of these methods:

  • robots.txt: Add User-agent: DrivePulseBot / Disallow: / to immediately block future indexing
  • Email: Send a removal request to dealers@drivepulse.ca — we remove all content within 48 hours
  • DMCA / Copyright: If you believe any content infringes your copyright, see our takedown policy

We also welcome dealers who want to ensure their listings are accurate on DrivePulse. Contact dealers@drivepulse.ca to update or correct your listing information.

6. Research Tools & Calculators

DrivePulse provides free research tools including payment calculators, market value estimates, and AI-powered search features. These tools are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute professional automotive, financial, legal, or insurance advice. Payment estimates use generic formulas and do not represent actual lending offers. Market value estimates are algorithmic and do not constitute appraisals.

7. What DrivePulse Does NOT Do

DrivePulse is a search engine and connection platform. We do not:

  • Sell, lease, or broker vehicles
  • Provide, arrange, or broker financing or credit checks
  • Provide, sell, or broker vehicle inspections
  • Facilitate, mediate, or guarantee transactions between buyers and sellers
  • Process payments or hold funds on behalf of any party
  • Verify the identity, ownership claims, or vehicle condition of any user
  • Provide professional automotive, financial, or legal advice
  • Guarantee any vehicle's condition, price, or availability

Any links to third-party services (inspection providers, lenders, etc.) on our site are provided for informational reference only and do not imply an endorsement, partnership, or business relationship.

8. Advertising & Affiliates

DrivePulse may display advertisements (including Google AdSense) and affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link (marked "Sponsored") and make a purchase or sign up for a service, DrivePulse may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our search results, scores, or AI-generated analysis. Amazon.ca affiliate links are provided under the Amazon Associates Programme.

9. Premium Features

Some AI-powered tools offer a limited number of free daily uses. Unlimited access is available through a paid subscription. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Free-tier limits reset daily at midnight (Eastern Time).

10. Promoted Listings

Dealers may pay to feature or promote their listings on DrivePulse. Promoted listings are marked accordingly. Promotion does not alter the factual content of a listing — only its placement and visibility in search results.

11. User-Submitted Listings

Private individuals may submit their own vehicle listings on DrivePulse through our listing tool. By submitting a listing, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the vehicle described and that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

DrivePulse is a connection platform only. We provide a venue for private sellers to make their vehicles visible to prospective buyers. We do not:

  • Participate in, facilitate, mediate, or guarantee any transaction between parties
  • Verify the identity of any seller or buyer
  • Verify the condition, ownership, or legal status of any listed vehicle
  • Process payments or hold funds on behalf of any party
  • Provide any buyer or seller protection

All dealings, negotiations, and transactions are solely between the seller and buyer. DrivePulse is not a party to any agreement between users. Always meet in a safe, public location, verify vehicle history independently, and ensure proper transfer of ownership according to your province's regulations.

DrivePulse reserves the right to remove any user-submitted listing at any time, for any reason, without notice. To request removal of your listing, email hello@drivepulse.ca.

12. Limitation of Liability

DrivePulse is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from the use of information found on this platform or from transactions with third-party dealers. Always verify all vehicle details, pricing, and availability directly with the selling dealership.
